Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Coring and Sawing Operator to join our team. As a Concrete Coring and Sawing Operator, you will be responsible for performing precision cutting, coring, and drilling on various concrete surfaces. This position requires a high level of expertise in operating core drilling machines, saws, and other concrete cutting equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete coring and sawing operations, possess excellent verbal communication skills, and be comfortable working overnight shifts and overtime as needed. The role offers a competitive hourly wage depending on expereince, pension payment will be part of the pack and a company van will be provided for transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Perform concrete cutting, coring, and drilling operations using specialized equipment and tools.
• Set up and operate core drilling machines, wall saws, flat saws, and other equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to established safety guidelines.
• Maintain and inspect equipment regularly to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to schedule and prioritize work assignments.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to project deadlines and complete tasks within the designated timeframes.
• Assist in the cleanup and removal of debris and waste materials after completing cutting and coring operations.
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced team members when required.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete coring and sawing operations.
• Proficient in operating core drilling machines, wall saws, flat saws, and other concrete cutting equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to concrete cutting and coring operations.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients, project managers, and team members.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications accurately.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts and overtime as needed to meet project requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with basic maintenance and repair of concrete cutting equipment is a plus.
